Amanda Aiyar

Amanda serves as the Deputy Director of HR for the Piedmont Environmental Council, where she oversees all human resource functions for the organization. An Indiana native, she holds a B.A. in English Literature and an M.S. in Strategic Communications. She spent 11 years in public service at a local government agency before moving to Virginia. While she is new to the area, she is excited to participate in Leadership Fauquier to learn more about the Fauquier county and build relationships with local peers. She is passionate about the outdoors, hiking, music, reading and spending time with her family.
