Dan Fortunato

Dan Fortunato is part of Leadership Fauquier’s class of 2025. He has lived and worked in Fauquier County most of his life and was mind blown about how much he did not know about this county until going through this program. Seeing the benefits to him and his cohort, he decided to join the board to allow others to enjoy that same experience. 

Dan joined Meridian Financial Partners in 2024 with a strong desire to help people make sense of their financial lives and plan intentionally for the future. After six years serving as a youth pastor in California and Virginia, and with guidance from a mentor, he made a thoughtful transition into financial advising. Today, Dan supports clients directly with their financial planning needs.

A family goal with his wife Hannah and their two young children, are on a mission to visit every national park—already hitting 31, with Yellowstone topping Dan’s list. A thrill-seeker at heart, he enjoys activities like skydiving, kayaking, and motorcycle riding. Beyond adventure, Dan is passionate about community impact, having graduated from Leadership Fauquier and serving on the board for Hope Sleeves. At Meridian, he values the strong relationships and supportive team culture that allow him to pursue both personal and professional growth.
