Roy Clowser III

Roy T. Clowser III is the Medical Imaging Director at Fauquier Health, where he leads X-Ray, CT, Mammography, Nuclear Medicine, MRI, Ultrasound, and Radiologic Support Services to aid in diagnosing the health of the Fauquier Community. A staple in the recent leadership changes at the hospital from two years ago, Roy has contributed greatly to the positive culture changes felt and reflected through the consecutive A safety grades from the Leapfrog Group and designation as Virginia’s Top General Hospital. He started his career as an X-Ray and MRI technologist earning the Mallinckrodt Award of Clinical Excellence, MedStar Patient Safety Hero, as well as completing the Ascension Medical Groups’ Leadership Development Program. Roy picked working in Fauquier County because it’s the type of tight-knit, hard-working community he loves as it reminds him of his upbringing in Calvert County Maryland. Roy is excited to contribute to the 2026 Leadership Fauquier Cohort and connect with the other leaders.
