Jennifer Hennessy

Jennifer Hennessy is an Academic Advisor at Laurel Ridge Community College, where she is committed to empowering students throughout their academic journeys. She brings a strong dedication to equity, student advocacy, and community engagement, drawing on her diverse background in education, administration, and information technology to help remove barriers and connect students with the resources they need to thrive.

Currently pursuing her Master’s in Higher Education Administration, Jennifer is passionate about creating inclusive learning environments and building pathways to success—both within higher education and the broader community.

Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys exploring the outdoors, traveling, and spending time with her two sons and their easygoing yellow lab. She is excited to join Leadership Fauquier’s Class of 2026 to connect with fellow community-minded professionals, deepen her understanding of local challenges and opportunities, and grow as a leader committed to advancing equity, education, and access.
