Darine Barbour is a Project Management Assistant for an architectural and engineering firm, where she supports the coordination of complex projects with precision, organization, and a focus on collaboration. A Fauquier County native, she holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Human Resource Management, strengthening her expertise in leadership, strategy, and organizational development.

In addition to her professional role, Darine serves as a Planning Commissioner for the Town of Warrenton, where she helps guide the community’s vision for growth and development. She is also an active member of the Warrenton Police Department’s CAT21 Team, the NAACP, and the Town of Warrenton Zoning Ordinance Update Steering Committee, contributing to public safety, inclusivity, and sustainable planning. Guided by her belief to “Be the change you want to see,” Darine approaches each role with dedication and integrity.

Darine is the proud mother of three children—Tiffany, Antione, and Shanta’—and grandmother of ten. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, running 5K races, relaxing at the beach, and supporting the Virginia Special Olympics. Her career, community service, and family life reflect her commitment to building strong foundations in every area of her life.
