Michelle has over 30 years of experience in education and training, spanning early childhood through college and professional development. She excels at building trusted relationships, understanding her audience’s needs, and implementing effective solutions.
For 8 years, Michelle led Outreach and Engagement at Laurel Ridge Community College, where she increased awareness of community college programs among prospective students, parents, community organizations, and local industry. Her efforts resulted in measurable enrollment gains and strong community partnerships.
Michelle is committed to community engagement. She joined the 2018-2019 Leadership Fauquier cohort and continues to serve as the Class Representative to the Alumni Committee.
In June 2025, Michelle became the Workforce Development Coordinator for the Northern Virginia Construction Careers Coalition (NV3C), a newly formed, non-profit focused on expanding career opportunities in the construction trades. The Coalition includes 19+ primary construction contractors and several community and educational partners.
As an advocate for education, Michelle champions opportunity and positive change. She looks forward to supporting the mission of Leadership Fauquier with her extensive knowledge and experience.
